“Blue is the colour of the sky and sea. It symbolizes trust, wisdom, and calmness.”
On August 8th, 2025, the Pre-Primary wing of M.S. Kawar International School was transformed into a serene sea of blue as our tiny tots from Nursery to U.K.G. celebrated Blue Day with vibrant energy and enthusiasm.
🌊 A Day Drenched in Blue
The celebration aimed to help children recognize and appreciate the colour blue, which is often associated with stability, intelligence, loyalty, and depth.
Students came dressed in various shades of blue—from baby blue and sky blue to navy and royal blue—each child looking like a little drop of the calm blue sky. The classrooms were decorated with blue balloons, blue craftwork, and a variety of blue-themed objects, creating a captivating and immersive learning environment.
🎨 Activities and Engagement
To reinforce the significance of the colour, teachers conducted a range of engaging activities that allowed children to explore and express their understanding of Blue Day. From colour sorting and drawing to identifying blue items in the classroom, the activities were not only fun but also educational.
The joy and curiosity in the children’s eyes reflected their enthusiasm for learning through colour, making the day a memorable one.
