Nurturing Academic Success
Understanding M S Kawar's Attendance Policy
At M S Kawar, we believe that regular attendance is essential for academic achievement and holistic development. Our attendance policy reflects our commitment to fostering a positive learning environment where students thrive. Here's an overview of our attendance policy and why it matters:
Importance of Attendance:
Consistent attendance is crucial for academic success and overall student well-being. Being present in class ensures students can actively engage with curriculum materials, participate in discussions, and collaborate with peers. Moreover, regular attendance cultivates habits of responsibility and punctuality, preparing students for future endeavors.
Attendance Expectations:
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes, including lectures, discussions, and extracurricular activities, unless prevented by unavoidable circumstances.
- Parents/Guardians are requested to ensure their child’s punctual arrival and notify the school in advance of any planned absences or emergencies.
Recording Attendance:
- Attendance is recorded daily by class teachers and monitored by school administration.
- Students are responsible for signing in upon arrival and signing out when leaving the school premises during school hours.
Absence Reporting:
- In case of absence, parents/guardians are required to notify the school office immediately, providing a valid reason for the absence.
- Absences without prior notification will be marked as unexcused, and appropriate follow-up actions may be taken.
Attendance Monitoring:
- The school closely monitors attendance records to identify patterns of irregular attendance or persistent absenteeism.
- Parents/Guardians will be informed promptly of any concerns regarding their child’s attendance, and collaborative efforts will be made to address underlying issues.
Consequences of Non-Attendance:
- Excessive absenteeism may impact students’ academic progress, eligibility for participation in school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Persistent non-attendance may necessitate interventions, including parent-teacher meetings, counseling support, or referrals to relevant support services.
Partnering for Success:
At M S Kawar, we recognize that maintaining regular attendance requires a collaborative effort between students, parents/guardians, teachers, and school administrators. By upholding our attendance policy and fostering open communication, we aim to create a supportive environment where every student can thrive academically and personally.
We encourage parents/guardians to reinforce the importance of attendance with their children and communicate any concerns or challenges they may encounter. Together, we can ensure that every student at M S Kawar receives the support and encouragement they need to excel in their educational journey.
For further information or assistance regarding our attendance policy, please don’t hesitate to contact the school administration. Thank you for your cooperation in promoting a culture of attendance and academic excellence at M S Kawar.
Message From Director
Our school represents a cross section of the society and is a rich blanket of multi cultural diversity. Children come to us from varied cultural, social, racial and religious backgrounds.
